About Us: Case Studies
IP Carrier
An international carrier approached Telecorp in the Autumn of 2005. They needed a carrier to terminate IP traffic to Australian national and Mobile destinations but who also had enough international minutes to enable a swap of traffic.
The Telecorp carrier relations team was able to tailor a solution that included both premium routes for business grade traffic and lower cost routes for consumer traffic.
“We were able to set up a swap quickly because we have an enormous amount of outbound traffic that isn’t tied up in bilateral agreements” said Damien Stephens, Head of Telecorp Carrier Relations. “The relationship has worked well for both parties and we have now expanded to include New Zealand.”
Domestic VoIP Service Provider
“Finding a carrier who doesn’t sell direct to our customers is a challenge in Australia, Telecorp fits the bill for us as they can provide all the services we need including CTS, international termination as well as inbound number services” said Romain Bonjean, CEO Ivox Ltd.
“We are flexible enough to develop solutions in partnership with our customers rather than imposing a solution that is predicated on protecting our competing offers“ said Rowan Morrison, Telecorp, GM Wholesale.
Calling Card Service Provider
Calling card providers in Australia and New Zealand are finding it increasingly difficult to compete against multinational players entering the market.
One of Australia’s leading Calling card brands outsourced its platform and engineering to Telecorp thereby enabling them to free up resources for sales and marketing as well as drastically reduce the amount of CAPEX the business required to compete with the larger players.
Telecorp can provide a complete turnkey package for calling card providers including ingress numbers, rating, PIN creation and management, web based top up and design.
